How it Works

Every year, we plan to have a host Bevin. This Bevin will serve as a... host to all events. This includes instanced Ae'gura, Tsogal/Delin, etc. We have not, as of yet, chosen a host Bevin.

There will be a week, to two weeks of Qualification runs, and then finals the following weeks. There will be no seperate mens/women's events. We aren't sexist. (OOC: Every person has equal ability in the Cavern!)

Each participator will choose their home Age from the Prime Age choices. (Eder Gira, Eder Kemo, Kadish, Teledahn, or Gahreesen)

Prizes? There aren't many things we COULD give out as prizes, ideas are needed. Please email me if you have an idea.

Events

This is a list of plausible events. One star being just an idea, 5 stars being almost set in stone.

• Eder Delin/Tsogal Door Racing ***** Teams race to finish the Eder Delin map as a qualifier. Then the finals are held in Eder Tsogal.
  
• Marathon in Bevin ***** Competitors run wild for up to 30 minutes in this complicated track of winding paths.
  
• Ae'gura Sprint **** Competitors sprint from point A to B. Fast.
  
• Gahreesen Tower Climb **** Competitors Race to the top of Gahreesen, jump over to the second building, and make it to the designated finish point.
  
• Heek Tournament **** C'mon... You know what heek is.
  
• Bevin Marker Chase *** Self-explainatory
  
• Ae'gura Marker Chase *** Self-explainatory
  
• Various Jalak Games *** TBD
  
• Soccer in Bevin *** Using the beach ball as a soccerball, competitors try to score on a twisted field.
  
• Dancing ** Participators dance to a song of their choosing. (OOC: Not just using the /dance command, but using all commands, in a creative way) Judged by a panel.
  
• Diving * Unknown rules
  
• Capture the Cone* Unknown rules

Signups

Each age may have as many participants as they can. There can be no difference in numbers more than 3 between ages for fairness. There will be team sports.

To signup, just say your name, "home" age, and any events you are interested in. If you can give me any info on any possible events, please say so!

I don't know if anyone has thought of this, but since the olympics are going on, I thought we could have an URU Olympics, there are plenty of events, from age runs to just running (instanced places of course, to avoid lag). People wouldn't represent countries, they would represent the Prime ages. There are infinate possibilites, and I'd be willing to organize it, if people would be willing to participate.

I would like to have marker searches, but I don't know if they are working...

It's hard to put all of my graditute towards the URUObsession community into words. Everyone I talk to is very kind and helpful. I specifically thank The Psion for helping me arrange one of my meetings next weekend. To start, I'd like to have anyone who is interested to visit our website http://draec.webs.com it will help clarify who we are and what we do.

We are having 3 meetings that will talk about our February findings and more about who we are. The talk will last about 15 - 30 minutes.

• Saturday, February 27th in DRAEC Bevin 10:00 AM EST (This is a dress rehearsal, it's only meant for people who can't make it to other times)
  
• Saturday, February 27th in Ae'gura by the DRC Tent at 8:00 PM EST
  
• Sunday, February 28th in URUObsession's Bevin 8:00 EST

I suggest that you come to the URUObessesion meeting, as it makes most sense for the URUObsession users. I will be revealing some plans that I have for our Ahnonay research. I think that I might have a few other special URUObsession exclusive comments. Short and sweet, the URUObsesion meeting has more information than the others. I hope that you become interested in joining the DRAEC after our meeting, as we do need more members, who doesn't? Thanks for having me in your Bevin and I hope to see you there.
