Servers are down.. but in the meantime you can get an account. Also, if you dump your old MOUL backup (you DID keep one, right? ;) ), notably dat/avi/sfx folders, into the Uru Live directory created.. it'll slice your update from gigs to megs... and will blitz by. Apparently content servers aren't running however so you can't actually update the needed few files, but it'll save you hassle.


See you all down there when servers are up! We'll need to gather to get members for the UruObsession hood (if not already there, whenever it's made) :nod:

Goody. I was just thinking about that today as I was reinstalling the complete chronicles after a Windows crash a couple of weeks ago. I have not been able to get the flymode working, but it was a couple of days before I realized that I had loaded the Uru Ages After Myst and not the Complete Chronicles. I couldn't figure out why the stairs were blocked and why the books were missing.

I was wondering if the on line was ever going to come back.

Well, er, ah, that was on XP which was backed up with Norton Ghost, a version that doesn't run on Vista and the XP machine blew up nearly a year ago and, well, ah, maybe.....

There's apparently a torrent floating about, noted a few spots on the MOUL forums. As for legality, RAWA noted they're not deleting those threads and are currently discussing what to do about them... specifically if it's ok or not. In the meantime though you can grab it there, probably just as fast as otherwise.


Anyways, it's slow as heck, but I'm getting to relto. Once I have my KI it'll be on my sig.. three cheers for Cyan, and see you all in the caverns! :D

Anyone else having trouble registering? The system says I will get an email shortly, but no go. I suppose the first one that was should have been sent to me this afternoon got lost.

Edit: Never mind. Someone posted the link at the MOUL forums. Someone else had posted it earlier, but they did not state that it would work if you had gotten the email sent message.

Registered, halfway through the patcher, and now they've pulled the plug to give the hamster a rest and oil the treadmill bearings I think.

Im'm confused. If an Uru Live directory is created during installation and download, how do I get in there and poke the sfx folders in during installation? I would love to cut the download time.

For that matter, is there a thread or something that gets into details about this installation e.g which installer do I need depending on what I have and what will happen to fan ages yada yada??
I've got somewhere UU files, I have on desktop Play Uru offline with fan ages and a don't ask don't tell copy of MOUL files (I never joined MOUL - no high speed connection)
Where do I put this thing? What will it overwrite and destroy unless...?
