I was downloading MO:ULagain before the servers went down, and had about 450MB to go.
Now, when I launch the URU Launcher to finish the download, it says "Unable to create file: Hard drive may be full"
I have 144GB free and am running Windows 7. I did also post this over at the official forums, but figured I'd try my luck here, as well as document the fix once we figure it out.
Any ideas? Should I delete and reinstall from scratch?

MO:ULagain says no room on hard drive but it lies!

Not 100% sure what's up with that.. it does sound like a win7 permission error being misinterpreted.
My suggestion is to delete, run patcher. Cancel patcher. Copy your old MOUL dat/avi/sfx folders in (you DID keep them right?), then rerun the patcher.
If you get the same error, the usual response is to either install to the desktop, or edit the permissions on the folder so it can be read-written by all.

Gather round kiddies and let me tell you a little story of a treehouse.
Unless of coarse you figure I'm barking up the wrong tree, or don't give a twig about it and wish I wood leaf well enough alone...
But forest of you, enjoy!

Thanks for the help, I moved the folder to the desktop and tried restarting my computer and then URU. It picked up the download where it stopped before and finished it without any problems.
Don't know if this will be of any use to anyone in the future, but it resolved the problem for me.

I wish, I haven't been able to set my password, so I'm stuck on the surface at the moment.

sounds like there may have been a corrupt file or files in the folder.

Are you giving the game write permissions?
